The Role

We’re looking for talented lawyers who want to practice law differently. We understand that who you are personally matters just as much as who you are professionally. Providing an inclusive work environment is a core part of who we are as a business, so we’re looking for people who may have found that the traditional working styles of private practice or in-house practice didn’t quite work for them. If you're a qualified lawyer, that's great - but our team is made up of many talented people who have chosen not to pursue qualification, or perhaps at a later date. We’re looking for someone who is both technical and commercial, both in the practice of law and outside of it. You will fully embrace working flexibly and remotely. You’ll be interested in tech, but don’t need to be any good with it (we can teach you that!) and you’ll be extremely comfortable reviewing classic corporate contracts like NDAs, release letters, back-to-back NDAs, and ideally some commercial contracts such as Supplier Agreements, Master Services Agreements etc. Finally, we are very committed to building a diverse team across multiple dimensions. We feel this is fundamental to our culture and actively look for people who share this passion. Providing an inclusive work environment is a core part of who we are as a business, so we’re looking for people who are interested in alternatives beyond the traditional.

Your Skills

You will be extremely comfortable marking up corporate contracts using guidelines or a playbook, and you will have spent at least 2 years doing that in private practice or for an in-house team. Ideally you will have experience working for private equity clients or other financial institutions and you’ll have a pretty good grasp of financial jargon and strong commercial awareness. You will enjoy working in a stimulating, diverse and intellectually challenging environment where multi-discliplinary collaboration is essential to completing projects and achieving results for our incredible clients.
