Robin AI is an exciting, venture-backed technology startup whose mission is to dramatically reduce the cost and complexity of legal advice. Backed by top London based VCs, Forward Partners and Episode 1, Robin uses a combination of human and artificial intelligence to review and edit contracts and is building software to fundamentally change the legal industry forever.

Robin was established in March 2019 by CEO Richard Robinson (a former City lawyer) and CTO James Clough (a theoretical physicist who works in Machine Learning). They have since assembled a talented and diverse team of legal, software and machine learning engineers to build the next generation of contracting tools.

At Robin AI, we are creating groundbreaking products that are transforming legal teams. Our work is multi-disciplinary and brings together the best talent in engineering, product, AI and the law. Our current product uses neural networks to read and comprehend written contracts, assesses whether they adhere to our customers’ preferred positions, and then automatically amends them. But our ambitions go way beyond reviewing contracts – we want to build technology that changes the way companies all over the world do deals.

To do that, we need to build. Specifically, we want to build a new, structured way for businesses to make and agree on contracts by replacing the outdated Microsoft Word default with a browser based, visual contract building application that will empower anyone – with or without legal training - to create a world class contract.

You will help us sell our popular managed contract services offering where Robin’s talented team of lawyers and paralegals use Robin’s proprietary technology to help our customers manage their contracting processes.

The Role

This is a chance to help a generational company make its mark on the legal industry. You will work as a core part of our Sales team helping promote our managed services offering to the world’s leading in-house legal teams.

Tech Stack

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new clients and meet sales targets in a fast-paced, ambitious software company
  • Work with and develop BDRs to drive qualified leads
  • Develop sales collateral alongside Marketing and Product Design teams
  • Support account expansion alongside customer success teams

Your Skills

  • 3 - 6 years of professional experience in a fast-paced and competitive environment, ideally in a B2B technology company
  • The ability to understand customer pain points and requirements
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency for selling on the phone, via Zoom or inperson
  • Experience prospecting and building target client lists
  • Experience selling software or technology-enabled services
  • Willingness to help identify and train SDRs
  • Experience closing £10k+ accounts

You will enjoy working in a stimulating, diverse and intellectually challenging environment where collaboration is essential to achieving results. Experience working with or understanding legal technology or selling to lawyers is absolutely not a pre-requisite, but it may be helpful– so let us know if you have any experience in that space.

Our offices are at WeWork in Bank, where you will have a dedicated desk in our private office space, which you are free to personalize as you wish. We also have access to all of the amenities within WeWork including a pool table, table football, table tennis, co-working space, free barista made coffee and free beer in the evenings.
